Das Baldachin von Bernini befindet sich in der Petersbasilika in Rom über dem Grab des Apostels Petrus. Der Baldachin wurde zwischen 1624 und 1633 von Gianlorenzo Bernini erbaut, um die Verbindung zwischen dem Grab und der Basilika hervorzuheben. Die Kirche wurde nämlich an dieser Stelle wegen dieses Grabes erbaut. Man wollte also die Aufmerksamkeit auf das Grab von Petrus und den päpstlichen Altar lenken. Der Brüsseler François Duquesnoy soll Bernini bei der Realisierung geholfen haben.
