Die Porta Angelica existiert nicht mehr. Doch an der Vatikanmauer markieren Skulpturen die Position, die sie einst hatte. Durch dieses Stadttor verließ Königin Christina am Morgen des 23. Dezember 1655 mit einer großen Prozession die Stadt Richtung Norden, um von außerhalb der Stadt den feierlichen Zug zu starten.
