Das Monestir de Santa Maria de Poblet ist eine katalanische Zisterzienser-Abtei. Das Kloster liegt vier Kilometer entfernt vom Ort Vimbodí in der Comarca Conca de Barberà in der Provinz Tarragona. Im Jahr 1991 wurde es von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erklärt.
Das Kloster wurde im Jahr 1151 von Raimund Berengar IV., Graf von Barcelona, und den herbeigerufenen Brüdern der Abtei Sainte-Marie de Fontfroide im Roussillon gegründet und später an den Zisterzienserorden abgetreten. Das Königspaar von Aragonien erwählte es zu seinem Pantheon, und es entwickelte sich zu einem der herausragendsten Kulturzentren der Zeit. Besondere Bedeutung erlangte die Bibliothek. Poblet ist das größte und prächtigste Königskloster Spaniens, zugleich das umfangreichste und besterhaltene Zisterzienserkloster des Abendlandes, allerdings stark restauriert . Die wichtigsten Gebäude stammen aus dem 12. bis 15. Jahrhundert.
