Sieggraben is a municipality with 1,269 inhabitants in the Mattersburg district in Burgenland, Austria. The village center of Sieggraben is located in a valley-like depression south of the Sieggraben saddle, while other parts of the village are mostly scattered over hilly terrain. The Sieggraben hills are foothills of the Bucklige Welt. The Sieggraben saddle is a notable geographic point formed by the collision of the Rosalien mountains with the Ödenburg mountains. The village is situated at the narrowest point of Burgenland, which is only four kilometers wide. The Auwiesenbach river flows through the municipality, into which the Mausgrabenbach flows at the area of Trift. From the municipal boundary to Kalkgruben, this watercourse is called Sieggrabenbach, which merges with the Schwarzenbach in Weppersdorf and is usually referred to as Stooberbach from there onward. The Brenntenriegel, at 606 m above sea level, is the highest elevation of the Ödenburg mountains. A prominent, widely visible elevation is the Sieggrabener Kogel.
