The Abwinden-Asten power plant is a run-of-river power plant on the Danube between the Upper Austrian towns of Abwinden and Asten. It is part of the Austrian Danube power plants and was built from 1976 to 1979.
The facility has five weir fields, each with a clear width of 24 m and two locks. The reservoir length of the river is about 27 km, and the target elevation is at river kilometer 2119.45, at an altitude of 251 m above sea level.
