The Kirchbichl power plant is a run-of-river hydroelectric power station on the Inn River near Kirchbichl in the lower Inn Valley. It is designed as a meandering power plant, a form of diversion power station. At Kirchbichl, the Inn flows through a river bend about 3.5 km long. To the west of the bend, the Inn is dammed by a weir with four weir fields, and the majority of the water is diverted into a channel. The power plant is located at the end of the slightly more than 1 km long channel.
