The Ötztal Cycling Path spans nearly 50 kilometers, connecting the charming Haiming (663 meters) and its fruit-growing areas at the entrance of the valley with Sölden (1,360 meters) in the far south, surrounded by the mighty three-thousand-meter peaks of the Ötztal Alps. Highlights along the route include the Adventure Park Area 47, the Habicher Lake, the Stuiben Waterfall, one of the largest waterfalls in Tyrol (detour), the Aqua Dome spa, and the spectacular cycling bridges that cross the roaring Ötztaler Ache. The route of the cycling path, which branches off from the Inn Cycle Path at Haiming, is designed to be as far away from the main road as possible, taking you through nature and along small side roads. A positive side effect: the route passes through almost all the villages of the Ötztal. With its good path conditions and moderate inclines, the Ötztal Cycling Path is perfect for families with children. It is divided into four fairly short stages, but cyclists with appropriate fitness can easily conquer it in one day.
