Graded as intermediate to difficult, this stage requires physical fitness and takes riders on two major climbs from the Inntal Valley up to the highest point of the Tirol Mountain Bike Safari. The first of these leads up to the sunny plateau Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and to the Schönjochbahn cable car in Fiss. The second big ascent starts in Fließ and leads up to the Via Claudia Augusta. A choice of gravel roads and trails are available for the descents back into the valley.
