The Blankaart is a nature reserve in West Flanders. It is a recognized nature reserve and is European protected as a Natura 2000 area and is also part of the Ramsar area 'de Blankaart en IJzerbroeken'. The nature reserve was created in 1959 and is largely located in Woumen, a borough of Diksmuide. There is also a small part on the territory of Merkem, a borough of Houthulst. The area includes the domain of the Blankaart Castle.
