The Boekenbergpark can only be visited on foot. It was once a highlight of garden architecture. It was created at the initiative of several owners, each of whom wanted to leave their mark on the design and had a great fondness for diverse and special plant species. As a result, Boekenbergpark became a park with a multitude of styles and follies - such as fountains, artworks, and bridges - and a wealth of plant species. However, poor management by successive owners has severely affected the original structure.
Today, however, it is a protected park landscape and work has begun on the redevelopment of the park and the ecological swimming pond.
