Profondsart is a railway stop on line 161 near the village of Profondsart in the municipality of Wavre.
Baron Lambermont revealed in his memoirs that the Profondsart station was built at the request of King Leopold II as a thank you for the baron's long record of merit and especially for the success of the negotiations that Lambermont had conducted in connection with the redemption of the Scheldt toll. In 1889, a stop was opened that allowed Baron Lambermont to easily reach the Rofessart estate, where his family was staying.
