Oriented place of worship with striking tower as a landmark in the hilly surroundings. Located on the southern edge of the village bowl, in the middle of the lawn lined with mountain ash trees. To the east the presbytery included in the row of houses of the Church Perimeter (number 5). To the north hedged vegetable garden. South orientation table placed as a memento of the 200th anniversary of the Royal Asylum of Messines on November 11, 1976; from here nice perspective on the valley of the Douvebeek.
