demonstration: Bling bling: old jewelry, often counterfeit
Jewelry (and also coins) is often faked. Many collectors have been fooled or have questionable pieces in their collection. Get to know a range of excavated and restored archaeological objects and their counterfeit counterparts. Learn everything about (artificial) aging processes and how easily these fake objects end up in the antiques market.

exhibition: Too blunt or not too blunt
Go on an exploration with the whole family together with the archaeologist. Based on excavated bones, we can see whether they belonged to a man or a woman, how old and tall someone was. You can also read from the bones which diseases they suffered from and what the cause of death was. But archaeology is also a 'dangerous' science, where desire can quickly take the place of research results...
