The St. Peter's Church is the parish church of Kaster, which belongs to the West Flanders municipality of Anzegem, located on Juliaan Claerhoutstraat.
The patronage rights of the church were held by the Abbey of Corbie. It is believed that a wooden church was initially established, which was replaced in the 12th century by a single-nave church made of Tournai stone that had a square crossing tower with an octagonal superstructure. Around 1600, a south aisle was added.
