Provincial Domain Kessel-Lo

What you can experience...
The provincial domain of Kessel-Lo is a family park that is based
on three pillars: recreation, sports, and education.
Children can have a great time in the playgrounds, electric robots,
minicars, the mini-golf, and the newly renovated heated
outdoor splash pool. In the traffic park, they can bike and
go-kart, and on the 5-hectare pond, they can row and pedal boat. And
there is of course the climbing forest: via a course of ropes
and large tree houses, children can climb - between the branches
of the trees -º.
Sports enthusiasts can play tennis, soccer, volleyball, and
basketball.
Furthermore, the domain has a roller-skating rink and
two skate ramps.
But Kessel-Lo is more than just having fun. You can also
learn something there.
In the bee house, for example, visitors can observe the activities
of bees behind glass, and a small exhibition
tells all about honey and beeswax. A few times a year,
the beekeeper extracts honey in the presence of the public.
At regular intervals, visitors can also pour or roll candles
with real beeswax. Guided tours by the beekeeper can be requested.
In the eco-center, you will learn all about -ºwater-º. Here
various themes are addressed such as water pollution,
water purification, water extraction, water flora and fauna, and
rational water use.
If you just want to walk in Kessel-Lo and enjoy the
nature and flower beds, you will also find your pleasure. A
walking path leads to the former abbey of Vlierbeek.

The attractions are accessible for a fee from the
Easter holiday to the end of September between 11:00 and 19:00
