On the other side of the atmospheric square, lined with chestnut trees, stands the "Met," a covered market hall. In the past, the weekly market was held there, and afterwards the building served a number of various functions. The cars of the municipal services and police were parked there for a while, stamp control took place there, and even at one point, there was a shooting range in the basements. The market hall has been protected since 1974 and was leased to a private company in 1989, which took on the restoration. Since 1993, there has been a brasserie with a terrace, a luxurious banquet hall, and several meeting rooms.
