St. Peter's Church has an eight-sided brick celebration tower in early Gothic style. The two-bay choir was built in sandstone. The lower church dates from 1906 and was rebuilt under the direction of architect J. Goethals from Aalst. The interior has a predominantly neo-Gothic decoration. The former town hall is right next to it (1927) and was designed by Valentin Vaerwyck and stylistically matches that of Zomergem, by the same architect.
