This is a post mill from the year 1782. The builder was lawyer Jan Frans Dielens. This is one of the 130 active windmills and 50 watermills that Flanders still possesses.
To the top of its rotating cap, it measures 22 m, with upright blades 33 m. The mill has 5 floors, of which the 2nd is the machine room and command post of the miller. The base on the inside has a diameter of 12 m.
Protected as a monument in 1943. Since then, the mill was restored in 1965 and in 2003.
