Around the middle of the 19th century, Izegem gained fame for its brushes. Initially, the brush factories produced for the local linen industry. In 1981, a retired brush manufacturer founded the National Brush Museum. Here, you can learn about the many types of brushes that have existed and still exist.
Educational packages are provided. For each grade of primary education, a specific aspect of the museum collection is highlighted in a playful and active way.
