So-called "Castle of Heaven". Former so-called "Goed te Magheret", a farm founded in the 15th century by the Scheldevelde reclamation domain of the Ghent St. Peter's Abbey, circa 1840 so-called "Hemelrijk" and country residence of F. Deynoodt. Around 1850 by the De Rudder-Deynoodt family new, late-empire country house built in a beautiful park, laid out by botanist F. De Rudder himself, and one of the most beautiful parks in the Ghent region. Beautiful iron fence between octagonal pillars on bluestone base and crown, near the Ghent-Oudenaarde motorway. Plastered and painted castle of five bays and two and a half storeys under mansard roof (slates), in its current form dating from the first quarter of the 20th century with preserved core of three bays and two storeys, from around 1850. Front façade with accentuated central risalite with colonnaded porch and terrace on the raised ground floor, balcony on the upper floor; crowning triangular pseudo-pediment with oculus. Rectangular framed windows, lower windows with pediments and three-light in the risalite of circa 1850; windows on the half floor and fine neo-empire stucco motifs on the parapets from the first quarter of the 20th century. Complex extended rear façade with terraces added later and landing stairs to the garden with swimming pool.
