The Romanesque iron sandstone substructure of the tower of St. Peter's Church reminds you that you are in the middle of the Hageland here. After all, iron sandstone can be found here as a kind of protective layer on top of the Hageland hills. The substructure of the church dates from the 12th-13th centuries; the rest is less old: 1894. In the church you can admire confessionals from the mid-18th century, an organ from 1817 made in the workshop of the famous organ builder Pieter van Peteghem and a pulpit from around 1835. Also make time for the beautifully situated presbytery from 1690 with a moat around it. This building can be found just outside the village centre.
