The built-in tower with a Romanesque base is part of a neo-Gothic brick parish church that was constructed in the late 19th century. The Romanesque part is made of iron sandstone and probably dates from the 12th or 13th century. The portal, the window above it, and the stepped water table between both are part of the neo-Gothic construction campaign. The square bell chamber with pointed arch sound openings consists of brick and sandstone and was presumably rebuilt in the middle of the 17th century. The church was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style by architect Langerock at the end of the 19th century after a fire.
