In 1984, the Feyerick warehouse from 1890 was transformed into the Nieuwpoort Theater. Since then, this art center has been recognized as a permanent pioneer and trendsetter in the field of innovative performing arts in and outside of Flanders. For some time now, Nieuwpoort Theater has also been occupying a second venue at the Fishery. The Nieuwpoort Theater is also developing its own unique and distinctive social-artistic program.
