The Hallerbos is part of the large Sonian Forest and is one of the major attractions of Halle. Every year, thousands of people come to enjoy the splendor of nature. During the tourism season, the forest is also made car-free, allowing visitors to enjoy it in peace.
Every year leading up to Easter, the Hallerbos is adorned with the thousands of purple bluebells. Visitors from near and far flock to Halle to witness this unique spectacle. But even beyond that, Hallerbos is more than worth a visit. It is home to hares, pheasants, wild rabbits, as well as various deer. The rich fauna and flora provide the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, every season anew. This 535 ha large Hallerbos offers various possibilities to enjoy Mother Nature in complete tranquility. The Hallerbos also features its own forest museum.
