Mozet is a village of Wallonia and a district of the municipality of Gesves, located in the province of Namur, Belgium.Although the area has been settled since Roman times, the current village developed around the church and castle of an allod in the early 11th century. During World War I, fighting took place in the village in 1914, during the battle for Fort de Maizeret and Fort d'Andoy. In 1916, 65 men from the village were deported to Germany during the Rape of Belgium.
