Moircy is a modest village, located 8 km southeast of Saint-Hubert, thus in the High Ardennes, along the fairly busy N826 that connects - somewhere between Barrière de Champlon and Bastogne - Libramont with the major Ardennes road N4. It is situated on the southern edge of the huge forests that encircle Saint-Hubert, so to speak in an area where those forests left some room for meadows (but it is likely that the open land was created by burning down the forest). In any case, the panoramas are breathtaking.
