The borough of Crombach includes the towns of Hinderhausen, Hünningen, Neubrück, Neundorf, Emmels and Rodt.
In 1153 Crombach was first mentioned by the Abbot of Stavelot-Malmedy as Grumbach. A chapel was consecrated in 1387. In 1797 Crombach and surrounding towns became an independent municipality, which in 1977 became a part of the merged municipality of Sankt Vith.
