Rocherath is a place and district municipality in the Belgian municipality of Büllingen in the province of Liège, not far from the German border. Rocherath is the highest located district municipality in Belgium and together with the adjacent Krinkelt forms a twin village.
Rocherath was founded from Krinkelt starting in the 12th century. Especially in the 14th century, when a plague epidemic occurred in Krinkelt, many from there moved to Rocherath. The villages have grown together and the church is located in Krinkelt.
