Doel is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders and a district of Beveren. Doel is located in the far northeastern part of the province, on the left bank of the Scheldt, in the Scheldt polders of Waasland, close to the Dutch border. In the Waas dialects, the village is referred to as "Den Doel".
Doel became known since the 1960s due to expansion plans for the port of Antwerp that would cause the village to disappear.
