Wambeek is a village in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant and a part of Ternat, located in the Pajottenland. Wambeek has an area of 8.55 km² and had 2,866 inhabitants in 2020. Wambeek was an independent municipality until the municipal reorganization of 1977. Wambeek was first mentioned in 877 as Wambacem. It was part of the domain of Nivelles, first in the County of Brabant, later in the Duchy of Brabant.
