Former "Schuttershof" of the St. Sebastian's Guild, a marksmen's club whose oldest known regulations date back to 1482. The guildhall was built by the association, probably in the course of the second half of the 17th century. In 1754 it was sold by public auction. However, the inn, owned by the adjacent Van Hoorebeke brewery, continued to serve as a marksmen's room and used the adjacent marksmen's square, where the gaeyperse stood. Two memorial stones in the rear façade refer to the "Championship 1952/ sector II/ East-Flanders/ won by the/ team of Assenede" and to "Raymond Janssens/ 24 emperor v.d. Kon. Nation. Association of Belgian Bouncers/ 30 May 1954".
