Built in 1867 in Flemish neo-Renaissance style for Minister Frans Schollaert on the former estate of the Premonstratensian convent of Gempe.
Beautifully restored chapel with intact stained glass windows.
The castle gained fame as 'the Wazinghouse' in the TV series 'Wij heren van Zichem'. Currently a brasserie-restaurant.
