The starting point of our hike is the Horst Castle in Sint-Pieters-Rode, where the character of the Red Knight originated. The castle is very well preserved. The construction was started sometime in the 13th century, first as a farm and later as a moated castle.
Around the castle are beautiful, rustic ponds and often events are organized there.
