Under the Lindens

Under the Lindens is a street and former square in the Limburg town of Oud-Rekem in the district of Rekem.
To the east lies the domain of the Castle d'Aspremont-Lynden, which is separated from it by a brick wall flanked by linden trees along the entire length of the street. Originally, there was also a row of linden trees on the west side. After the disappearance of the property boundary wall located to the north of the castle domain, the former square took on the appearance of a wide avenue. It now connects the Groenplaats with the Herenstraat to the west, the Kanaalstraat to the east, and Oude God to the south.
