The Stedelijk Museum van Hoogstraten is located on one of the most beautiful beguinages in Flanders. The Beguinage of Hoogstraten was founded in the 14th century and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the permanent exhibition, the Hoogstraat city history and prehistory are presented. Every year, four temporary exhibitions are organized around art and heritage.
