Visit the Fashion & Lace Museum for free with the museum pass. Every year, the Fashion & Lace Museum highlights a thematic exhibition that signifies a key moment in the history of fashion. The focus is always on Brussels and Belgian creations.
Within the annual thematic exhibitions, attention is given to crinolines from the 19th century as well as to the fashion of the sixties or to bridal gowns from the late 18th century to the present. Brussels lacework has gained international fame over the centuries, reaching the highest royal circles of Europe. The Lace Room immerses visitors in an original way into the history and production of this textile.
In the Textile Box, the museum also pays tribute to contemporary textile creations. The exhibitions organized showcase the versatility of the field and respond to the current trends of designers/artists.
