The viaduct of Gentbrugge is a beam bridge located in Gentbrugge that is part of the A14/E17. The viaduct is designed as a 2×3 lane road and rests on 94 pillars. Nearby are the center of Gentbrugge, the Gentbrugse Meersen, and Moscou. The maximum speed is 90 km/h due to traffic safety, noise pollution, and environmental impact. Therefore, the viaduct is also equipped with speed cameras in both directions. The speed camera towards Kortrijk was installed in October 2009, but due to calibration issues, the system could only be put into operation in June 2012. Later in 2012, the speed camera towards Antwerp was installed, which became operational in March 2013.
