Civil Godhouse

Neo-Gothic brick complex, founded in 1878 (see facade stone), with a front garden enclosed by a hedge and low brick wall. Left gate pillar with new surrounding chapel. Main building of seven bays and two storeys under a gable roof (tiles, ridge parallel to the street) between side stepped gables and provided with a hexagonal wooden bell tower under a slate pointed spire. The front facade is rhythmically arranged by Bruges bays containing crossing windows with small bar divisions, culminating in six roof windows with pointed gable crowning. Central door with round-arched transom on brackets. Pier between the fifth and sixth bays with facade stone and pointed arch niche with a saint figure on the upper floor. Decorative anchors. Side stepped gables with accentuated chimneys. At the back, a parallel wing with one storey, connected by a more recent covered walkway.
