The Pauwelhoeve, formerly known as Somershoeve after its owners, is an 18th-century farm complex that still contains a residence, a paved square yard, a large barn, and some storage spaces.
The stables have been demolished or converted into spaces for various uses. Here and there, traces of former habitation remain. The delineated vegetable garden, the orchard, and the pasture are still there, albeit no longer in their original state.
The Pauwelhoeve is one of the oldest and largest farms in the Sint-Paulus hamlet. It was classified in 1979.
You can find the Pauwelhoeve along the Geraardsbergsestraat, the connecting road between Galmaarden and Geraardsbergen.
