Under the Ancien Régime, the Grand-Halleux mill, powered by the flow of the Glain, belonged to the Count of Salm. It was subject to the banality, reserved for the inhabitants of the ban of Halleux. There was already a miller from Halleux in 1674. Under the regime of the French Revolution, the mill was confiscated, becoming state property. The French State sold it in Liège on November 12, 1807, to Henri-Joseph HONVLEZ, from Ennal. The mill then entered the properties of his descendants ARRASSE, then BOUHARMONT. In 1914, Julie ANDRIANNE, from Vielsalm, sold it to a BOZET. It was set on fire in 1926.
