Café known as "De Carillon". Two remaining deep houses from a row of eleven at the choir of the Sint-Walburgakerk, adjacent houses built on the former cemetery. Brick and sandstone houses of one bay and two stories with in- and out-curved gables, under separate saddle roofs, dating back to the late 17th century, restored according to a design by architect Amandus Robert Janssens from 1921. The left house features a central door and two windows framed in a flat wooden surround under a wide segmental arch relieving arch and an upper floor with a vaulted sandstone cross frame; attic hatch with sandstone neg blocks and scaffolding hole in the gable top. The right house has a door on the left and two windows in similar framing and relieving arch (beautiful stained glass screens) and an upper floor and top with sandstone string courses, similar cross frame, attic hatch, and scaffolding hole.
