The well-known singing nun, Soeur Sourire or Jeanne (Jeannine) Deckers, is buried together with her (lesbian) friend Annie Pécher in the cemetery of Wavre. Wavre was also her home village. She became very famous with her song "Dominique -nique -nique". The tomb text is J'ai vu voler son âme à travers les nuages from "Dominique". In 2009 Stijn Coninx made a movie of her life.
