Map lovers should definitely visit the Royal Library. Here you can find the Cabinet Map of the Austrian Netherlands (1771-1778), the so-called Ferraris Map, in 275 sheets, with 12 volumes of handwritten commentary. In addition, there is also the topographic map of Belgium at a scale of 1:20,000 and the cadastral plans of Philippe Vander Maelen (1795-1869).
