This impressive 15th-century patrician house in late Gothic style consisted of two commercial residences, De Sterre and Crayenest. Traces of two older 13th-century houses can still be found in the basement. In Huyse de Grote Sterre you will now find the Uilenspiegelmuseum, Tourism Damme, and the revamped visitor center "Damme and the Zwin region." In the summer, you can rent bikes and Vespas. Don't hesitate and feel free to come take a look with the whole family.
