Bakery Bernard is for me the top bakery of Ghent. Not only is the taste of bread and pastries outstanding, but the interior of the small bakery also makes you dream back to the past where bread was baked as it should be. And the service is fantastic. A few top items you must try are the Aalst vlaaien, the long Suisses, and the many special artisanal breads.
