The Beverentunnel is a tunnel for highway and train traffic in the port of Antwerp on the left bank of the Scheldt, under the access channel of the Waasland Canal to the Kallos Lock. The tunnel connects to the Liefkenshoektunnel for highway traffic and is part of the R2 motorway. The tunnel is toll-free. For train traffic, the tunnel connects to the Antigoontunnel, which opened in 2014 and was bored downstream next to the Liefkenshoektunnel that opened in 1991.
