A visit to the brand new Sugar Museum should definitely be on the agenda. In this museum, we search for the 'lost taste of sugar'. Colorful animated characters call upon us to track down the source of the mischief. It will be a journey through stories, sounds, and atmospheric images from the colorful world of sugar.
The museum includes several departments, spread over the 3 floors of the former city halls. All aspects are covered: the fascinating social history, the beet harvest, the honey production of bees, to all possible applications of sugar. On the top floor of the museum, there is a space for temporary exhibitions, set up for the duration of one year.
