Brewery Malheur is a beer brewery in Buggenhout in Belgium. The brewery was started at the end of August 1997 and is owned by Manu De Landtsheer, whose family has been brewing beer for more than two centuries.
The founding father of this brewing family was Balthazar De Landtsheer, who was born in 1773 in Baasrode and established the brewery "De Halve Maan" there. His son, Edward De Landtsheer, born in 1808, took over the business. A grandson of Balthazar De Landtsheer, Emmanuel, moved from Baasrode to Buggenhout in 1839 to marry the brewer's daughter Marie-Anne Sarens.
