The 65-hectare Gavermeer forms the core of the domain. Besides walking and cycling, you can also sail, surf, and fish. In the summer months and with supervision, you can swim in the swimming area. There is a sanitary pavilion where you can take a shower.
The entire provincial domain of 173 hectares also has play and lounging fields, walking paths, a cycling and horse riding path, a nature reserve, and the restored Koutermolen. The Gavers is an ideal base for exploring the surroundings or for a trip along the Leie.
