Originally a farm with watermill built by the St. Michael's Abbey of Antwerp. Now a complex of four wings around a courtyard where the Molenbeek flows underneath. Following the restoration of 1912, by the Witman family, the building was given more of the appearance of a castle. With recovered material, old dates were also bricked in that do not relate to this building. The latest restoration in neo-traditional style dates from 1968-69 by the Mertens de Wilmars family.
